Staying motivated to keep the hustle going

How does “hustling” play a part in your professional life?

If you look up “hustling” in Google, there are a variety of associations with regards to the context its being used, but regardless at its core it revolves around ones self imposing their will, being aggressive, and doing what it takes to move forward….typically financially speaking.

This is an important trait to have, because I don’t think you can really teach the attitude behind the hustle.

To me it’s a consistent mindset that you will continue to position yourself to make financial progress, be it at work or in your personal life.

The Pro Bloggers and influencers we all follow and admire online have years of hustling behind them, years of running into obstacles but never letting go of the mentality that they will get over the hump and figure it out.

Hustling is directly correlated to struggle as well, because we all know things don’t typically pan out right away in our business pursuits, its takes time and dedication.

I recall many episodes of Shark Tank where Entrepreneurs lose the deal because to the sharks, the individuals didn’t sell them on them as a person, as someone who would drive the business forward and extend themselves to make all of the appropriate connections.

On the flip side, I have seen many deals get done because Mark Cuban or another shark totally bought into the individual…that if the Entrepreneur already had already been cold calling big brands and “knocking on doors” for meetings, that they were in good hands as an investor.

If you are passionate about reaching a specific goal, or aspire to some sort of lifestyle I think in most people their natural “hustle” comes out, but the passion has to be there.

If your thoughts are consumed by what your pursuing, and you keep yourself balanced through the self education process, your internal “hustle” should push you along nicely.

I look forward to sharing my general progress and mis steps on my journey to creating a profitable online brand for myself, because it’s not something that will happen overnight.

Whatever your pursuit, side business or whatever….keep hustling going and figure it out!
